In Sverdlovsk Region, People Vote for Harry Potter
 Sverdlovsk region residents tried to model the reality during the gubernatorial election. Some people extended ballots with their own suggestions - they struck the candidacies out and put down other names instead. People alternatively voted for other local officials, someone even voted for Harry Potter to become the Sverdlovsk governor. Regional electoral committees nullified about 20 ballots, in which people voted for Harry Potter. According to the information from the regional electoral committee, 33.61 percent of the regional population took part in the election. About 1.7 percent of ballots were nullified.
